CASA CTA Staff/Board Retreat a Success
The CASA for the Cross Timbers Area staff, along with members of the Board of Directors, spent Saturday, April 17 together at the Foster’s Home for Children ropes course participating in team building activities. CASA CTA executive director Mindy Wooley organized the event in order to build a stronger bond between the staff and the board. 
“It is important to build a strong connection between our staff and our board,” said Wooley. “The more we know and understand the roles each of us play, the better we will function as a whole. It is my intention to educate our board on the daily workings of the program, as well as our goals and aspirations, in order for them to help steer us in the right direction.”
The group started off the morning with team building activities before moving to the ropes course in the afternoon. The board of directors completed the day with a strategic session.
