Eastland Bank Hosts Hamburger Lunch to Benefit CASA CTA
First Financial Bank Eastland County and Cross Timbers hosted a hamburger lunch Friday, June 25 benefiting CASA for the Cross Timbers Area. Members of the Eastland community came out from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and graciously donated over $900 to the CASA 4 Kids fund. Eastland Division President Candi Kanady and her staff, along with members of the CASA CTA staff, grilled and served burgers all afternoon.
“We are so thankful to have community partners like First Financial Bank in Eastland,” said CASA CTA Executive Director Mindy Wooley. “Candi and her staff graciously donated their time to help us support children in Eastland County. Since we are physically located in Erath County, our community partners in Eastland, Bosque and Hamilton Counties are an integral part of our success.”
CASA CTA is currently looking for volunteers to help advocate for children and families involved in the Child Welfare System. If you would like to learn more about CASA CTA and its mission of helping children, join us for an in-person informational session at the Eastland Centennial Memorial Library on Tuesday, August 3 at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
