TBRI® (Trust Based Relational Intervention)
TBRI® (Trust Based Relational Intervention) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children and their families. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.
“If we all work together, we can create an incredible impact for generations to come.
With a TBRI practitioner on CTA CASA’s staff, our program has access and permission to teach the TBRI caregiving package to members of our community who need help filling their “toolbox” with practical strategies proven to help children and families who have experienced trauma. We equip parents and caregivers with strategies to proactively meet a child’s needs. We also teach, encourage, and work with adults on ways they can build connections and create felt safety and trust within the family. We are passionate about this training because we have seen it transform lives and families over and over again in the time that we have been using it to help others.
